Eastshade

I was looking for a leisurely discovery and Walking Game with Puzzle elements. Then I was offered on the Steam Side Eastshade and I found exactly the Right thing. And my Expectations were exceeded tens of times. But before I get started with the positive Features, I would like to address some Things that have bothered me: 1. Since the Game is still very fresh, there are still many Bugs and Glitches that sometimes force you to restart the Game to fix it. Most, however, are bypassable. Mainly It's Framedrops, Clipping-/physics and Texture Glitches you find. 2. The Introduction happened a bit quickly and it takes a bit of time to understand and learn to love the World of Eastshade. 3.2-3 Quests are sometimes not completely conclusive from the Storyline, but you can completely ignore them. Now to the positive Impressions: 1. The Game provides breathtaking Impressions (I collected a few Screenshots to use as a desktop background:P) 2. The Depth of the World of Eastshade is not recognizable at first glance and one is well rewarded for a curious Nose (even if I personally wish that there are even more and more varied rewards for this, eg Secrets, antique scripture/stories, ...) 3. The Quests are usually well thought out and The Characters ' points of view are easy to understand. Again and again, Quests surprised me with an Extra Task and/or an unimagined event. (Have played through the Game after 15h, initially thought it will not exceed 5h) 4. The System of the so-called "Paint-Em-Up" is implemented here first-class. It makes You feel like finding the perfect Angle on a Landscape or other Motif. 5. Freedom Of Choice. In many Quest You are allowed to decide for yourself who you tell and influence the Course of the Quests. Verdict: Eastshade was like a Mini-holiday to me-an Experience. I recommend This Game to anyone who wants to switch off, traverse beautiful Landscapes and sink into a dreamy and loving World. P.S.: I hope Gronkh makes a Let's Play of it. It's almost tailor-made for him:P

EASTSHADE, is a relaxed Game without an Opponent or Combat System. In the Foreground is the Exploration of the World, collecting objects and solving Numerous quest. We slip into the Role of an Artist washed up due to a Shipwreck on the Island of Eastshade. The Area is populated By Humanoid Animals, and probably we are also such a Creature. But we do not learn much about our Character, only that it was the Wish of our Mother that we also visit this Island to find Inspiration there, and to immortalize the Favorite places of her as a painted work of art. The Landscape is varied and beautifully designed, so in addition to the magnificent Nature, there are also numerous Buildings, Towers, Ruins and Cities to explore, which invite you to marvel again and again. The World is alive and believably equipped with People who always set new Tasks, some of which can be solved differently. Collected Material can be used to Build new Items or to sell them. So you get new Equipment for piece, such as Angel, Tent or Floss. In order to paint Pictures, we must have enough Inspiration points in addition to Wood and Fabric for Canvases. We get these when new Places have been discovered, by Potions (Tea) that you can buy or make yourself, and sometimes by fulfilling special Tasks. Pro: + beautifully Designed Landscape and Architecture + well-set Npc's (English) and almost faultless German Subtitles + Atmospheric Music + Much Content (about 20 Hours) + relaxed stress-free Gaming + stable And virtually no loading times + Clear inventory + Automatic running/go as an Option Contra:-Partly increased back and forth rite Due to the Quest Nous crashes while sleeping go, Game no longer reacts. (About 1 times per 8) and needs to be restarted-Game doesn't explain the inspiration model conclusion: Nothing for hobby warriors and Action Fans. The Game is for those who want to explore new Areas without stress, admire the beautiful Landscape and even paint drawing, and many Tasks can handle the right one. Value: 8 out of 10 possible Points!
