In Edge of the Abyss, play as the Robotic Navigator of Alien Unfriendly Terrain (Robonaut for short) and navigate unfamiliar terrain in a land far from home. Placed in a world falling apart at the seams, Robonaut is tasked with using its Cartographer’s Quill to map out this strange world, and draw life into it from the inky black. Inspired by minimalist art that uses high contrast to communicate shape, Edge of the Abyss will challenge the player’s perception and push them to think differently.
