The problem is to place eight queens on the chess board so that the queens are not in the attack path of the others. In the Try mode you can place the queens with Hints turned on or off. If they are on the attacked squares are marked with a red circle to assist you in identifying the attacked squares.
This app also shows the solutions. It animates the solutions by moving the queens around. It shows the board positions for all 92 solutions. You can pause and play to stop and start the animation.
