As a long time player of Elasto Mania for PC (I basically grew up with it), I’m super excited to see that it exists for iOS. However, it’s merely impossible to do the stunts and maintain the control of the old game without a keyboard. Please add support for the keyboard on the ipad, and raise the price ffs :)

Some of us have been waiting for this for years, to get a new version of this epic game.
What first strikes me is that the graphics have improved a lot. From the poor graphics of the PC version, it has now become pleasing to look at. You can tell that the developers have put a lot of work into the new maps, which are full of colors, fun moving objects that do show some of the amazing possibilities of the bike.
Some new objects have been introduced, which require you to collect a card before being able to access certain parts of the maps. Each level also has two routes, where one of the routes requires you to find and collect the helmet before finishing. The helmet quest can be quite tricky, and hidden, which is another aspect of how nice the maps are made.
The sound quality has improved a bit too, as the horrible suspension sound of the PC version has been removed. It still sounds like something from Professor Bhaltazar though.
The migration to iPhone unfortunately lacks some key elements. Although there is a lot of well made guides of how to play, the bike can get hidden behind your fingers as you play, and the mini-map is positioned on the same area as where one of the controls is. Also, it is quite difficult to get the same kind of precision in the controls as with the PC version, because of how the controls are positioned, and because you might miss a control, because you don't feel the position of the buttons with your fingers.
You can also pause the game in this version, which is nice, but the restart button is so close to the continue button that you might accidentally lose your ride. Another thing is that you can delete a player from the game without even being asked if you are sure you want to.
Also, you cannot save your replays or send your best times to a world record list. I really hope these features will come later, as it were some of the most important features to show how epic this game is.
All in all the game seems like a really good improvement from the PC version, but not fully compatible yet for the iPhone. I really wish this will be available to play with a keyboard.
Ps. There is also a bug in the game where the player commits suicide. Sometimes the bike just starts to spin clockwise continuously, messing up your really good rides!
