Androids are finally a possibility.

A test was developed to keep our artificial bretheren in line, and allow them to be monitored for signs of excessive emotion and defiance.

The Android Stability Test ("AST").

Every three days, androids are subjected to questions designed to bring about an emotional response in humans. If they react too strongly, they are deemed  "unpredictable" and considered dangerous to human society.

You are administering that test.
