Electrobit

This is a work in progress for a co-op job for the summer; it is similar to an on-rails platformer and our goal is to have 6 quality levels by end of it.
The game will be about a small being which resides within a digital device/interface that is being overtaken by a virus, the goal is to survive the hazardous changes and make your way through various sections to find the core of the virus and destroy it. At the moment it isn't prevalent in the game, but in the end the story will hopefully be told through the background and environment.
Instructions in the game are for touch screen since we are aiming for a mobile app release on the iOS and google play stores, but for the purpose of playtesting we're trying it on PC first.
We have a google form to fill out if you want to help us improve UX, gameplay and level design. Art is not final and will be open to changes.
Audio is by Mercurius FM and the game is powered by Corgi Engine.
KEYBOARD CONTROLS
- SPACE to jump.
- F to dash.
- ESC to pause the game.
KNOWN BUGS / EVENTUAL FIXES
- Sprite shifting when in gravity zones.
- Arrow indicators flashing in bottom left corner.
- Arrow indicators overlapping the pause screen.
- Stars being positioned in harder areas for a challenge.
- Level selection audio not working when starting the game or returning to level selection.
- More visual feedback since most of the particles and such are placeholders.
