I wanted to recommend this game, but I can't. The graphics were draw by hand, but the result is very bad, especially our 2 heroes, the monsters are passable. The script seems to have been written by a kid, so the dialogues are "child", while being far too long. Our prinpical character should be 16-17 years old, but his dialogues give him the personality of a 8-10-year-old child. His younger sister, who was to be 14-15 years old, behaves as if she were 4. Anyway, heroes anything but endearing. A very cliched quest (found medallions to save the world). Very ordinary music and it cuts often. In short, not recommended.

Elements: Souls of Fire is an outstanding RPG Maker Game. From Soundtrack to Character design, everything is made by Itself ... And that's good! The Character Design is a Matter of Taste, but shouldn't be a Reason not to give the Game a Chance. The Soundtrack is really coherent and consists mainly of guitar tracks. The Level of difficulty is high, but the Game is never unfair. In many Ways, it reminds me of old SNES or Mega Drive Classics. And Fans of JRPGs from that Time I would recommend Elements as well. Story and Writing have succeeded very well, above all the Game is extensive. With just under 20 Hours I'm not even halfway through, Long-term Motivation is offered.

Playing Elements: Soul of Fire will bring you back more than twenty years, with what follows, both positively and negatively. The Game focuses the story, full of classic cues and situations, but it does aggravating some of the negative aspects of JRPG. Dialogues that require a myriad of "clicks" to continue, often stuffed with text-free exclamations; "EXP grinding" sessions needed to get those level-ups that will allow you to defeat bosses, especially in the early stages of gameplay, where combat options are limited; The impossibility to avoid fighting, exploring some labyrinthine areas, even when they are no longer useful; The excessive dependence on the items in inventory, both to cure and to remove the negative status to the members of the party. The result is a video game dedicated to the fanatics of the genre, not attractive for those who are not willing to bear the limits, which probably will end up putting it aside soon. However appreciable the obvious, sincere commitment from the duo, which can be sure to go proud of their work.
