ENCODYA is a heartfelt, well-crafted cyberpunk point-and-click adventure with an endearing duo. The relationship between Tina and SAM is delightful, full of humour and tenderness. The cyberpunk world is rich, dense, and visually polished, with a dystopian city full of detail. The narrative is sincere and never cynical, addressing themes of hope and resistance with surprising sensitivity. The classic puzzles can be challenging and obscure, requiring patience. The hand-drawn art direction is charming, and the soundtrack is atmospheric. Some may find the puzzles too demanding or the pacing slow. But for fans of narrative cyberpunk adventures, it's a beautifully realised, emotionally resonant journey. Highly recommended for lovers of classic point-and-click games.
