Encroaching Darkness

At the beginning of the year, I took two weeks of my time to try and make a game from beggining to end, by myself. It mostly worked out, but it lacked audio and polish. I ended up working on it on and off throughout this year, and now I'm leaving it here for anyone interested.

It's a very basic (and very short, 10-20 minutes long at most) top down action platformer, where you play a cucumber-wielding hamster trying to thwart the plans of evil mage roaches. Despite the brevity of the gameplay, I tried to focus a bit on level design and fun mechanics, so if you're interested to see it, give the game a try.

Controls are:

Arrows to move;
Z to Attack;
X to Jump.

No gamepad support or options menu, unfortunately, but you likely won't need it.
