About

Enemy Mind is an indie side-scrolling space shooter developed by Schell Games. Plot You play as a parasite that comes from the deep space. You can take over the minds of humans on distance and control their actions. The players use this ability to take over spaceships and eliminate human fleets. Gameplay Enemy Mind resembles a classical horizontal side-scrolling shooter. The players control a spaceship on the left side of the screen, dodge enemy fire, and attack in return. The developers put a spin on a classic side-scrolling shooter which also serves as a narrational device. The parasite that is controlled by the player can take over the minds of the ships' captains and turn them on the friendly ships. This mechanics allows for multiple strategies and puts a new layer to the gameplay. More than 20 types of ships are present in the game with each ship differing in its armor, armament, and speed. The game features multiple endings that depend on the types of ships you use and the faction these ships belong to. There are no voiced lines in the game, and the glimpses of the story revealed through the comms chatter the players read through between the game's levels. Art style The game is heavily inspired by old space sidescrollers, such as Galaga and Space Invaders. It boasts hand-drawn pixel objects and a soundtrack written by a psychoactive retro wave artist Rainbow Kitten.

Enemy Mind reviews and comments

I Still have trouble believing that this game is a giveaway and found it for free, because without hesitation, would pay about 3 or 4 euros to have this title in my library. In Enemy Mind We are a kind of parasitic energy that, just by pushing a button, we go to control the mind of an enemy. Simple and grandiose concept that will give us hours and hours of entertainment. It Consists of 8 levels of 9 waves (one with boss) each and a mysterious mode (???) that comes out in the menu and I still could not unlock. The game is good to play it singleplayer or local multiplayer, but yes, if you want to have an optimal gaming experience, it is better to play WITH CONTROLLER. I had an almost complete experience with a generic PC controller, and I have to say that the gameplay is fantastic. I locked in the penultimate level, and also in the worm of the sixth, but I enjoyed as a kid with this game. Recommended.

This game came to me for a promotion that were giving away the keys for Steam, I almost did not take XQ thought: "Another Shoot ' em up generic", but hey, have a game of more free does not hurt, so q the active and install it, today more than a week ago , and I did not remember the game and looking for something light to play before bedtime, I see it, I say let's give a taste to see Q Tal. At first I felt disoriented, the game does not give you a minitutorial or anything like that (as we have bad accustomed in these times), and did not understand Q happened, why could not shoot or how it was suddenly Q appeared on the other side of the screen (and the first level Q First ships are equal to that of one. But suddenly it all started to make sense and... Incredible, change x complete the conception of the Shoot ' em up, no longer just leave the key pressed to shoot and dedicate to dodge shots that fill the entire screen as most games of this genre, adds some mechanics Q had never seen in this genre increase By reviewing the possibilities and variants of finishing a level/screen. The mechanics of Swapearte with another ship to take its control, being constantly aware of the level of ammunition and the state of the shield, the great variety of enemy ships Q you can control at any time gives you a turn and adds a fresh air to the games of EST and gender. Simple graphics, remembering arcades (lounge consoles), with retro and electronic music remembering that old era of 16-bit video games. The Game recommends playing with GamePad, however as I was not convinced if I was going to like it or did not play it with the keyboard and on the laptop, and I can tell Q the controls respond perfectly, on some occasions a little slow movement of the ship (not sure but It can be depending on the ship). And Surprise Surprise:D He's got coop local:D, that's my next target. The Truth I am very excited, Q point I just lost and before bedtime to sleep I decided to write this analysis, q thing I never do, I have written Q 2 or 3 in all the time Q I've been on steam. Eye!!! I have Only played a game, but it has left me very good taste of mouth and desires of more. I Do Not discard Q can get bored and become repetitive with the passage of levels, but X now has left me very good taste of mouth. Remember, this is just my opinion, have every right to be or disagree with it, thanks X read all this retaíla of words, enjoy the game;) YEP, you can still play
