A very different appearance from the majority of the hidden object games that I played previously. More realistic, less cartoon? Something like that. A bias of realism, Yes, that is highlighted throughout the game. Realism that makes sense when you know it is a criminal investigation devoid of any fantastic aspect. The atmosphere is quite comparable to that of the novels of Agatha Christie and al. (crime, bourgeoisie). The game is therefore to collect clues and run its brains to infer the sequence of events in order to expose the assassin. No room for trial and error, everything is logical, the only concession to the form of irrational that characterizes this kind of game: the location of certain objects is sometimes devoid of pure logic and requires great attention on the part of the player. The other logic flaw is inherent in this type of game: you have to go through the hidden object scenes to discover new indispensable objects. Once again, we will not escape, it's like hoping that Hollywood stops with the clichés... In terms of scenario, even if it is rigorous, it is simple and linear. Which is unfortunate because there was a matter of rebounding. The choice of authors has been focused on the linear... Technically... First good surprise, music. It is not invasive and, although repetitive (one cannot escape), it is discreet but very immersive. The SOC are justified (finally!), relatively unabundant and of a good difficulty. As the game is not translated, you will have to possess a little English vocabulary. No bonuses or originality in the investigative process, we stay on rustic and efficient. A few more cool hours to investigate a murder.

I Must say that, even if it is a game not really recent, and that lack some useful features such as fast-traveling (but there is still a map), the structure of the game took me so much to make me finish in a couple of games, but instead other games of Same brevity I also require several sessions because I get bored quickly. As far as I am concerned, I found every part of it absolutely enjoyable and of the perfect difficulty, so much so that I did not have to go to see a guide or skip some puzzles, which to me often do not go. The HoG scenes are difficult but not so much to become unnerveling, and although it lacks the visualization of environments with an active HoG scene on the map (the usual exclamation points or similar), it is never too complicated to find them, even considering that the navigation is Simpler and faster than usual. Another flaw is that the collected objects end up in the inventory randomly, but this is also not a problem, considering that you will never have too many. Well-made and animated models of the various characters, although certainly not at the level of the most modern Artifex Mundi, and I found also interesting system that the game uses to enter the information in your log, which instead of ending up in a long book in a linear Way , are instead inserted in their context, such as everything you discover about a character will end up in his specific section, in order of discovery. Small details here and there, but that make the game very enjoyable and fulfilling, as well as the possibility to find fingerprints and hidden jewels, that even if they are not related to achievement or other add something more to the game (in fact, apart from the Popup that shows how many you have collected and how many are missing, I have not found other menus in the game that show this information). As duration We are on the 3 hours, average for these games.
