On the day Kate 

was going to college. Kate saw something he had never seen before, falling from the sky of what looked like a rare source of energy.

So he kept it with him to find out what it was and where it came from. After that, there was a spaceship looking for that thing. until found at Kate. Kate tries to escape from them but he could not escape and was captured. When Kate woke up, He was shocked to see where he was and saw his body turned into a robot. 

So he had to try to escape from this place.
