Escape Path Alpha

This is the ALPHA TESTING of the early development of a game called Escape Path.  COMPLETE THE FEEDBACK SURVEY HERE : https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6CRQB9R and get your name featured in the credits of a future demo build. It’ll only take about 5 minutes to complete. This testing will be put towards making a fully functional and polished demo of the first part of the game including the first boss fight. 

Escape Path is a strategy game where the choices you make throughout the game will result in one of numerous endings, but there is only one way out. The gameplay is similar to a dungeon crawler, with turn based movement and procedurally generated rooms. But, there is a story element added to influence your decisions and humor and personalities to the characters. Which path will you take?

Note: In this alpha build, your choices will only really affect different dialogue texts you might receive, as this is only the first part of your journey. 

Controls:

W, A, S, D or Arrow Keys: Move the character up and down or left and right. 

Enter or Return Key: Submit or continue dialogue. Also can be used to skip any of the intro to go right to the Start Screen. 

Shift Key: The dialogue is read off one letter at a time. You can increase or decrease the text speed in the options menu, or you can press Shift key to finish reading the text.

Escape key: Open the pause menu during the game. 

*Some keys with special functions will be explained in the game.

If you don’t hear sound in your browser when you get to the start menu, try clicking the game. Many browsers don’t allow audio to autoplay in webgl games. Some browsers also result in poor quality graphics.
