Evil Defenders reviews and comments

Friendly and quite traditional Tower Defense. You have 5 rounds, of which you can increase the effects, and that one can specialize at the end of evolution. You also have some powers, such as invoking a demon, teleporting enemies or throwing a lightning bolt. The technology tree allows to increase the powers and specificities of the towers by obtaining credits ("souls"). This game has the pros and cons of the "Tower Defense", we seek to advance and unlock the evolutions and the routes, but it becomes repetitive on the end. The difficulty is artificial in the sense that, in order to advance in the adventure, it is necessary to increase the powers and characteristics of the towers by obtaining credits. However, the credits ("souls") are dependent on the score you make, especially the number of enemies killed and the money earned at the end of the game and there is no "unlimited" mode. So it means that you will have at most 30 waves of assault for a given route, which limits the number of potential enemies killed (I would say in the maximum 1800-2000 in some large parts) and the money raised (34 000 may be a little more) per game. Basically, you may get in the maximum 2500 credits (3000?) and I think it takes well in the 75 000 to 100 000 credits to unlock all possible evolutions. It would have been more interesting to offer a mode of unlimited assault waves or at least 50. There, we end up unlocking all the adventures before we have all the possible evolutions and when we take stock, we realise that it will be a lot of hours of play to redo the same courses to have the necessary credits. Nevertheless, it remains a good Tower Defense, to take if you are amateur of the genre... and at a low price.

Evil Defenders is a good classic Tower Defense Game and Has Similarities to Kingdom Rush And Defend your Life, but there is no controllable Hero. The Details in the Shop give a false Impression of the Scope of the game. One fights as a good Demon against the evil People and gathers their Souls to improve. In the Beginning there is a nice Opening Credits, because you can already watch in the Shop, after that it is rather thin with the Story. Information about Information in the Shop: "Many Upgrades and 60 Towers with different Characteristics" There are only 5 Basic Towers that can be upgraded to level 3 and then have to opt for one of 3 Specializations if you want to upgrade the Tower further. So These are 15 Final Towers, the 60 Towers are the Sum of all possible variants and Upgrade levels. "90 Levels and 15 Missions on the Map" At the promised 90 Levels, it looks like each of the 6 Difficulty levels is counted on a Map, which is usually not common. So only 15 Maps (real Levels). http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=553174777 More soon The Game Is the Port of an existing F2P mobile game. The Graphics are beautiful. The Game is stable and bug-free, just 1 Crash in 30h. The Degree of difficulty is quickly increasing in the Beginning and gave me a Grinding hole, after I had picked up the most important Skills, it was enough to play the Missions at all Levels of difficulty. The Cards fill the Screen, there are predetermined Tower Building Sites and on many Maps there is an individual Special property that can be activated. In the highest Difficulty (Inferno) it may be that after only 20 out of 30 Waves the Card has been fully developed. Only Victories count, even if you only fail in the 30 of 30 Waves, there is only a minimal Reward. There is a small Random component, there are not always exactly the same waves. You can rewind waves, this costs souls (the Skillcurrency). There is no cloud storage in the current Version (16.11.2015). Verdict: The Game can't keep its first Impression. It was Fun and I have no regrets about buying, although the paid €9.99n for 15 Maps is a happy Price.
