GlassBeaver's submission for the 2022 Epic MegaJam "As above, so below".

All the game assets including sound effects and textures are my own original creation with the exception of the music.

Submission categories: Army of One, Use it or Lose It, Tiny But Mighty

(solo dev, only a single texture used, whole game under 150MB)

For the Use it or Lose It challenge, I've included the only texture used in the game in a separate zip file along with an example asset.

How to Play

Top-down shooter with the screen split in half for heaven and hell.
You must kill demons in hell to reach the required score while avoiding to kill any angels in heaven.

The shots you fire in hell are mirrored in heaven: as above, so below.

Use the "angel attractor bomb" [SPACE] to herd angels into convenient spots where they're out of the way. Pick up bombs and mines and use them with [RIGHT CLICK] to destroy your enemies. Careful though, bombs and mines will also destroy angels in heaven if they happen to be in the way!

Use [SHIFT] to dash and [WASD] to move.

If lost, press [ESC] of [F10] in a game map and the menu comes up with a Guide button to explain the mechanics.
