eXceed 3rd aka "Touhou in Disguise" is a pretty challenging game. Not challenging as in "Totally not fun and only there to annoy you and bring you to the extent of your patience" but as in "You will die, and you will keep playing in ambition to beat this exciting game" At first I was not sure what to think about this. I am a Touhou Fan and I don't really like rip offs, such as: - Bomb System + Auto Bomb on Death - Cute little girls as endbosses of a stage + They have several phases as well (Spell Cards =|= Skills) - Hitboxes are tinier than they look like to make this bullet hell more bar eable All these things are 100% the same as in Touhou, but I like this game nonethless. I recommend it to all Touhou Fans as well. It may not be Touhou, but is just as challenging as it. Although I gotta admit I am disappointed that they didn't add more playable characters to this game, changing their bombs/way of shooting/movement speed/etc. Overall, 9/10. I have to take away 1 point because the concept of this game is not 100% their own and at some rate I was disappointed in the final boss because she was easier than enemies I fought stages before. Still, give it a go, it's a good game! ;)

Not wishing to dwell on the drafting of this evaluation, I will rather list the positive and negative points of this 3rd Opus of eXceed, relying on my experience on the previous titles of the saga. So let's start with the positive points:-an improvement in the quality of the characters ' doublings, for the enjoyment of our ears. -A more nervous and training soundtrack than the previous Opus. -The game looks to me to be better optimized for the game to the pad than the second title of the series. -General gameplay, it takes a lot of fun to play, the mechanics are simple and nervous, just like the previous Opus. The few negative points, which will make me prefer eXceed 2nd to eXceed 3rd:-no originality here unfortunately, we find a shmup in scrolling vertical standard, there or eXceed 2nd had been more original by including the possibility to cross the bullets enemies by changing color, here we find the same mechanics as in a touhou or any other shmup to the old. -Soundtrack less varied, training certainly, but I would not listen to them for hours...-the difficulty of the game seems to me too weak, while the 2nd Opus had a system of growing difficulty well thought out and offered a better challenge in my eyes. In conclusion, this is still a very good game that I advise all lovers of the genre, even if I was a little disappointed, I was still hoping for more of the sequel of eXceed 2nd...
