Welcome To The Frontier, eXpatriate!

It's too bad your induction comes with a trial by fire.  Dodge the enemy forces until your hyperdrive charges, then jump out to the meet-up point!

Gameplay

Arrow Keys - Vertical/Lateral movement - including menu selections
Z - Accept menu selection (Main Menu & Escape Mode) | Reset game on win/lose (Escape Mode only)
X - Bring up pause menu | close the pause menu (Escape mode)

Game Modes:  There's only one.  "Escape"!  Dodge the enemy lasers until your "Charge" hits maximum.  Take too many hits, and you lose.

Game Jam Info

This game was built for the 2017 LowRezJam.  It is a 64x64px game, upscaled to 512x512px for the sake of playability.  It has a devlog, which also happens to have a project postmortem in it.
