The Game:
This is my entry to LOWREZJAM 2020.
It's meant to be a tribute to the SNES version of F-Zero.
The limited time of the jam means it currently only has one track. At some point more may be added.
Use the cursor/arrow keys to navigate the menus and steer the ship.
The OS-X version is entirely untested because I have no fruity hardware. If you try it out, please let me know how it goes!
EDIT: I can't get the HTML5 version to work without freezing up my browser, so I've deleted it for now. :(
Tools and Assets I Used:
3D graphics assets were made in Blender.
2D graphics assets were made in Aseprite.
The track (along with the collision volumes and AI instructions) was designed in Tiled and imported to Godot with the Tiled importer from the AssetLib.
Sound effects were generated in beepbox and polished in Audacity.
The fonts (geompixel and altopixel) are by lqdev, released under the Creative Commons Zero licence. They can be found here.
Music is from the excellent Electronic Music Pack by Joshua McLean which can be found here.
