Fairy Tale Mysteries 2: The Beanstalk reviews

Fairy tale mysteries 2 focuses on the search for hidden objects with a red thread, a second version of Jack and the magic bean. It is absolutely necessary to find the seeds of the magical bean because by pushing, these could connect the Earth to the world of clouds and allow Giants to descend to sow chaos. Fortunately, we benefit from the help of the guardians and their magic. In the bonus episode, you still have to find beans. Compared to fairy tale mysteries 1, the graphics have been reviewed, although still rudimentary, and it makes the game a little more enjoyable to the eye. But the real change is at the level of the gameplay: we move away from the model of the adventure point & click to concentrate essentially on the search for hidden objects. Thus to the traditional SOC with the list of words designating the objects on which to click or to combine, one must also find fragments of objects scattered in the décor, like giant SOC, on which one can click even if the location is clearly inaccessible to the character. The worst is that not only their dimension is not on the scale of the environment and they are often so badly embedded in the décor that we spot them right away but especially that we can not recover them before we are asked when we have found the place where they would be useful. We manage a double inventory: the usual bag with usable objects and lists of objects to be harvested that are updated with each discovery. We spend time clicking on elements of the environment to see if we can already recover them or if we have to come back later, to find the location that will trigger the search and to collect mysterious objects that are the subject of a list apart (which does not influence the plot and which curiously does not unblock a success). There are no really puzzles or mini-games so all that has to do is clearly stated in detail and can be realized without the need to think, even without recourse to the aid system. As with the 1, nothing justifies a red thumb from the moment we know that it is a game without difficulty that will occupy us in total no more than 3h and that we especially like hidden objects rather than puzzles and puzzles. To reserve therefore to the real fierce in this field, but on sale from 50 or 70%, while others are advised to tackle this genre with more ambitious titles as artifex Mundi knows to propose otherwise.

Beautiful Graphics, imaginative Content, varied Minigames. Nothing really falls short of this. Continuing so Artifex Mundi, I'm already looking forward to a Continuation of the Fairy Tale Mysteries

Beautiful graphics. Lots of very diversified scenes. Many hidden object games all more original than each other. In addition a completely correct playing time. I recommend it.

What an imaginative Game, the Graphics wonderful and the Melodies round off the Visit to Fairyland. Although I have not finished yet, I have already been able to solve a Lot of Pictures and Puzzles. I look forward to the rest of the Story. The Game has been staged with a lot of Love. Thank you very much!

Just the Classic hidden object game, which does not pretend anything more than our ability to move between the scenes (in this case the map is really important!) to find what you need and proceed in the adventure. The setting of the search is repetitive, but in a good way: For every step forward you need to find more and more objects in a crescendo that (at least to me...) has made fun. And this over and over again... The story, the drawings and the music are well made, and perhaps the most divertentte is to find all (but all) collectibles, challenging the "Perfidia" of the developers! I Repeat, a classic that for this reason is an "evergreen" (to remain on the subject of beans...) that deserves to be played.

Umpteenth effort of Artifex Mundi, Nth Center. The plot seems a mixture between a fairy tale of unclear origins (Jack and the Beanstalk), with the ubiquitous struggle between good (the Guardians), and Evil (the Giants), the Brothers Grimm (present in the game as NPC), a certain University of magic (or something like that) , a mysterious individual who sows chaos, and of course the player/Trice, or you. You Will spend a lot of time shooting for different locations, (all beautiful I dare say), collect items (always present but will become active only after certain events), pass screens of hidden objects, solve puzzles and collect secret objects do not Too secretive. Everything, graphics, music etc. are at very high levels. Try it, and then you decide. Final Vote: the maximum.
