FarmCry: Animal Tactics

Skirmish wargame featuring two bands of farm animals crying one another to inflict stress and panic over the yard. Inspired by real-life wargames with miniatures, and made for game jam during november 2022.

Features completed:

• Single-player mode with mediocre AI (Story mode)
• Quick-play (enemy elimination) with 12 different starting positions for both bands.
• Combat and movement system, allowing some decent tactical decisions to be made
• Stress mechanic, leading to Panic mode impairing actions of your animals
• Noise mechanic, waking up shepherd dog, who punishes most noisy animal (by her opinion)

To be done in 2023:

• Animal abilities for player and AI (asymmetrical)
• Simplified tutorial for those in need
• Campaign mode with band composition and progression
• Advanced terrain features and flying animals (chickens cant fly you know)
