A very disturbed Family Mom, I'm home! And I brought severed Heads! Gameplay "F.E.A.R. 3" is the Follow-up to the well-known Horror Series, but was developed by another Studio. This is another reason why the third Part relies not only on the Possibility of playing through the Campaign in pairs, but also very much on Action. In some Places there is a little Horror, otherwise you tend to butcher your way through. In doing so, one Player plays the "normal" point man who can slow down time and the other slips into the Role of "Paxton Fettel," who can knock over opponents and Things, put a Shield around the other Player and take On enemies. The Gameplay works very fluently and quickly, the Developers have been great to create a greasy shooter here. In addition, of course, there is a certain Replay value, as the Players might want to swap roles and their own Account can go up to Level 21. Yes, properly heard: F.E.A.R. 3 has Stages that Allow you to learn more Grenades, Health or Melee steps. However, it is annoying that this Data is stored on the PC and not on a Server. The Campaign is also relatively short at just under 5 Hours, but in the third Part the Multiplayer continues to come to the Fore. Apart from the Deathmatch-like game modes, there are still 3 Wave defense Cards and a Kind of "Infection mode" in which a Player must use NPCs to defeat the other Players. Particularly striking is the Mode "♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ing Run," to which 4 Players have to reach the End of the Level, while behind them a Death Cloud is getting closer and closer. If only one of the Players enters the Cloud, the Game is over for everyone, so that prepricors really good Teamwork. In general, the Game is designed to be 2-4 Players, which should be kept in Mind when making a Purchase. Story Brothers must stick together! At least That's what Fettel thinks when he helps the Point Man out of Armachan Prison. Alma is ravaging with her Forces just the whole City of Fairport, while the corrupt Organization Armachan is trying to remove all Traces and flee. And even worse: Mom Alma has the Woes and throws Everything into Chaos a lot more. Both Brothers now want to reach Alma, albeit for different Motives. There are two different Endings, each of which of the two Players has scored more Points. The Story itself, I think, is rather mediocre. But for that, she's told in cool Scenes and very stylish. Since "Point Man" remains silent as always, we mostly hear Fettel talk as he plays around the Scenery with his rather cruel Humor. In addition, one follows in the Footsteps of the past of the two Brothers. So I have to say: Although in "F.E.A.R. 1" I clenched a Bullet into the Guy's skull, Fettel is simply a cool Figure. Graphat/Sound Of course, the Graphics are already a little older, but Blood is probably always splashing well. Some Textures may seem little slurred, the Blues effect is a bit exaggerated, but the gloomy atmosphere definitely comes across timelessly well. Musically, the Game basically lingers in the Background, except for the many Jumpscares. Otherwise, I think the Song is absolutely apt for the End Credits. In my Opinion, the German Voice of Fettel stands out and the Opponent is all The time at the Roar, which is supposed to fake a certain Interaction. Conclusion "F.E.A.R. 3" is somewhat dusted, but probably always worth Gold as a Cooperation experience. I pre-ordered it at the time and maybe paid a little too much for it. But be it the Story or probably especially the 4-Player Multiplayer, here you can spend a great Time with Friends. My only Criticism is the lack of Content, because there are only 3 Cards per Game mode that you simply played through at some point. The third Part, while less reliant on Horror, is arguably a great Game for small LAN parties and the Shootout for In Between.
