Fiddler's Green

This game was created for "Mix and Game Jam (2020)".

The theme of the jam was "Mixing Genres". We spent a lot of time to think of some interesting interpretation of this theme.

So we came up with this:

We continued our brainstorming, thinking of something, that would be green thing and could become main idea of the game.

And we found it! Fiddler's Green - a sailors aftelife paradise, located just in 9 miles from The Hell, described in books, songs, and sea legends.

As the theme is ready, what do we wait for? Here is the game!

Fiddler's Green

You will take place of the dead sailor, who spent his whole life on board, scouring the seas. He had a hard life, but now the ghostly paradise of Fiddler's Green waiting for him: taverns with free alcohol and food, long-gone friends, pretty women. But he must overcome the last challenge: get through the foggy waters of afterworld seas, guarded by deadly cretures, waiting for feast on his immortal soul, unexplained and mysterious phenomenas, driving crazy any mortal coming ro close to them. And the most dangerous of them, a devil himself - Devy Jones, the ruler of these ghostly seas and carrier of souls of the dead sailors to their last resting place in Hell.

You will need to fight your way through all obstacles and get to your eternal rest in taverns of Fiddler's Green.

Controls:

W, A, S, D - movement;

LMB - attack with sabre;

RMB - shoot from pistol;

Space - jump.
