Final Theosis reviews

At the beginning of this Visual novel, we end up with Jorge (a Spaniard) and Nikolai (a Russian) in front of a portal near a large mansion, during the night. Curiously, everyone speaks their native language but everyone understands each other. We realize that we also share with these two people visual disturbances and especially that we have no idea how we came to this place. We're even talking about the likelihood that we've probably been drugged. Not being able to open the gate, we get closer to the House and we meet other people who without in the same situation. A nun arrives and reveals to us that we are all dead and become wandering souls gathered in Purgatory in order to prepare our journey to paradise. I tried final Theosis after I finished dawn, the previous work of the same developers, and until that time of the story, I thought I might have had a good time, even though I have no taste for religious things. I then solemnly receive "powers" that are only the integration in the history of the functions of the game (move me to another place, know the State of my relationship with other characters, discover some tricks, access the shop, look at the contents of my inventory). I am then told that we will have to get a number of "graces" by doing good deeds to be able to buy items at the shop or choose my destiny. These good actions consist of an intervention in a situation with a person on Earth which is in fact two clicks: select the situation exposed succinly (a list of 8 or 10 that one can select an infinite number of times when the scenario leaves us the possibility) and choose between two choices (for example, giving money or a meal to a hungry homeless) that will have different consequences but will in any case be relatively positive but bring more or less "graces". And then, in the margins of the main scenario, there is a whole dimension of the game that revolves around "pure love" backed by a message of peace and tolerance appreciable but brought in a rather heavy way. We are invited to connect with our comrades, to invite them on the so romantic terrace and to offer them such a lovely gift bought at the shop. The problem is that there are a lot of characters and we barely know their name and we finally never have so much opportunity to actually deepen a conversation. If I understand correctly, it is even recommended to choose a random character to finish the first time the story and try with the others either in another backup or even just from the main menu of the game. Really very frustrating. Finally, there is a card game which I have not understood well the interest or the playful aspect and which can be accessed directly from the main menu of the game. Finally, the end of the game arrives fairly quickly after the adventures that do not bring much to the plot and I suddenly find myself confronted with a blow to a choice between three destinies (which are not surprising since it is spoken throughout the story: remain definittely in purgatory, access to paradise or know the truth about the circumstances of his own death but then wander eternally in limbo). The end I chose is in fact 2-3 still images unpublished among others already seen and that's it. So either I went completely out of this title to which I would have absolutely nothing understood, or he tries to clumsily gather too many ideas that are perhaps simply not adapted to format. As much as pawn had been able to maintain my interest and maintain a minimum of consistency in spite of big flaws, as this final Theosis summed up for me at almost 2H of boredom and frustration while the topics discussed could have allowed to have a good time. Anyway, I don't recommend.
