Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition

I’ve been playing FFXV on the PS4 and stopped at chapter 3 because of the complicated control (too many buttons on the ps4 controller). This iOS version is much more fun and easier to play (the controls are all using the touchscreen). The chibi characters are nice and the story is exactly the same as the PS4 edition. I just finished chapter 1 now and will buy the rest once I got myself an iTunes card. Don’t get fooled by people saying that the game doesn’t start/boot. It works perfectly and smoothly on both my 6S and the older 6. It is their phone’s problem, don’t blame this App or the developers. For me.. worth 5 stars and worth paying for it! Although it is expensive (€21,99) compared to other iOS games. Update: I’ve almost finised the game, at the end of chapter 10 now. I noticed this version has a lot of cut scenes, functions and you could never get lost. On the PS4 full version, you could drive the car by yourself and going to quest locations back and forth. The PE only automaticly goes to one (correct/next) location. Ignis cooks meals according to ingredients you found on the map. In the PS4 version you were able to chose what you cook and what kind of boosts it gives. Also there are no restaurants in PE. Still, it is a good game for iOS.

In FFXV PE are condensed all the merits and defects of the original: fantastic audiovisual sector and exciting interaction between the protagonists, but also extreme simplification of the combat system (compared to the standards of the saga) and plot full of holes Narrative. The linearity of the mobile version, which focuses the story in short chapters, however, makes the development of events more fluid, which follow one another with a "zone" progression closer to the old titles. Without the distractions of the original open world and reproducing only the salient events of the plot, the story now appears more understandable, also thanks to the addition of new dialogues, which illuminate some key points originally unclear. The combat system, with its new bird-eye view, is Also more readable and rational than the original, although it is further simplified, while maintaining the essential characteristics (System of acquisition of including skills). Recommended to all those interested in enjoying the history of Final Fantasy XV (imperfect but with a beautiful central theme) with a game system more similar to the old chapters of the saga. For Those who appreciate (I am among those who even prefer), 20 euros are all there.
