Flicker Feathers (dan990878)

An interactive story  based on real people and events. Flicker Feathers was created to keep the story of Greenville, CA in the public's awareness. The town was destroyed by the Dixie Fire on Aug. 4th, 2021. The flicker is an important bird in native Maidu tradition. Their bright orange feathers represent fire, friendship, and hope.
