Arrow keys to move. Double jump by holding the up key or double-tapping. Space bar to shoot. R to respawn with full health.

Your health is represented by how far you can see.

Double jumping, shooting, falling off the map and hitting enemies reduces health.

When you don't have any health left, touching an enemy brings you back to spawn, and you can no longer shoot or double jump.

This game is speedrunnable, my score just before uploading is 108053 (108 seconds), good luck!

My first project in a while to get back into making games for fun! I used to make flash games, but I decided I'd change language, so this one is using pygame.

It took me around 3h30 of actual implementation, so I'm a little above the 3h.

I got my little sister and brother involved to design a level each.

There are too many things to add to count, so if I have the time, I might make this into a full-fledged game instead of a proof of concept. There are some bugs that I didn't have the time to correct, unfortunately.
