Early Access Review Well in advance: My Review is just a first Impression of the Early Access Version. So please give the Developers a Chance to improve the Simulator with your constructive Criticism. You deserve this Chance.
So far, I have mainly used the FSX/P3D and also Xplane 10. Each of the Simulators has its Advantages and Disadvantages. Of course, these form my Reference.
The User Interface is redesigned and contemporary. However, the settings still lack the Exact description of the Ruleers (i.e. I have now made high or low Settings ...) But that certainly comes before the official Release.
Now to the Planes. I find the GA Aircraft very nicely implemented, very detailed and a really successful Entry into the early access version. More Patterns will follow as far as I know in upcoming Versions ...
I also find the Flight Academy very nice and successful. However, the Program crashes with me on the second Mission (Winningen, Landing with one-sided Engine Failure) after the Load. Probably another Bug.
All in All, a nice Implementation of the Flight School. I particularly like the modular Design.
In the Cockpit there are still some Systems without Function (depending on the Pattern), which is certainly still fixed.
A Multiplayer mode exists. But there is not much I can say about that. Have used in though, but would not necessarily need him. Here, a Chat Function might be quite nice. But possibly there are these and I haven't found them.
Now to the Scenery ... You can already see a Development between the FSX and the FSW of today. Even if it still reminds me strongly of the FSX. In fact, I no longer find the flat roads up-to-date and would like to see a similar Implementation As in Xplane, which is based on the one hand in 3D and on OSM, for example.
But I have heard that there is still a lot to change in The Soil scene, so I remain patient and hope for visible Further development. The Seasons are buzzing in a similar way to the FSX and are unfortunately very boring for me. At least in the VFR Flight. For Higher-altitude Airliners, this is certainly not quite as dramatic;-)
But I still find the Autogen very pretty-even if there is still air up and I would like More Landmarks.
Flying at Night is not recommended at night. I can't see lighting effects here, the Runway firing looks exactly like the FSX And that's actually very disappointing. Mainly It's black at night with a few points of Light ... Hopefully that's still changing.
I don't comment on The Performence, as that's not fair with an early access version. There will be a lot of optimisation.
Very pretty has actually become the Rain. A contemporary Presentation and very high Praise:)
At that's not when I can't say much about the Weather. It's quite pretty to look at. More Settings will only be released in upcoming Versions, so I can't say much here.
I also like that there is an ATC. However, the linguistic Implementation is the jerk. The FSX still has a Head start on that.
Now all in All, the Simulator makes a good Impression. It offers Potential when it uses it. Personally, the Integration possibilities of Add-ons are very important to me and I hope that it will not stick with a Distribution via Steam. The Involvement of various Developers such as e.g. Aerosoft are very important to me. At least I don't actually fly into any Simulator in the "out-of-the-box" Version. It is therefore a great and important Criterion for me to provide a Purchase upgrade for ambitious Flight Simmers.
Let's face it, in the FSX we also kept our Flight Simulator with Add-ons. That's Why I don't expect FSW to look like my FSX/P3D after numerous Add-ons. The Direction is right, anyway. It Is to be hoped that there is still a lot to be done in Terms of the Scenery.
Nevertheless, thanks to the development Team ...
