Floverflow

This game was developed as my Final Year Project at SETU for my Applied Computing degree, and has not been updated since. 

Floverflow is a 2D, side-scrolling rhythm game about geometric imps, gods, and defeating monsters to the beat of your favourite songs. 

It uses a form of musical beat detection called Spectral Flux Onset Detection to analyse any music file specified by the player and procedurally generate a playable game level from it.

It also uses Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment to enhance the players’ immersion and sense of flow. As the player performs better, more difficult obstacles are presented, and as the player performs worse, less difficult obstacles come into play.
