Food For Thought Prototype

Food for Thought is a 2D pixel art style party game with a wide collection of interestingly nonsensical mini-games, where sentient foods will battle-it-out in an assortment of 1v1 mini-games designed to test the skills of all players, very much akin to WarioWare and the Mario Party franchises. Each mini-game will be developed as short, intense games that test the player’s button mashing skills, reaction time, and ability to think on the fly.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Pac Food
  • Objective: Eat as many chefs as possible. The player who ate the most when time runs out wins
  • Player 1 Controls: WASD to move
    
  • Player 2 Controls:  Arrow keys to move
• Banana Pistols at Dawn
  • Objective: Each player will be prompted with a set of inputs. The player who presses those inputs first wins
  • Player 1 Inputs: WASD, SPACE
    
  • Player 2 Inputs: IJKL, Right Shift
• Chopping Block
  • Objective: The player who cuts the most amount of cucumber slices wins
  • Player 1 Controls: W to raise knife, D to cut the cucumber
    
  • Player 2 Controls: Up arrow to raise knife, Down arrow to cut the cucumber
• Food Fall Frenzy
  • Objective: Collect as much food as possible. The player with the most food when time runs out wins
  • Player 1 Controls: A/D to move, SPACE to jump
  • Player 2 Controls:  Left arrow/ Right arrow to move,  Right Shift to jump
• Water Hazard
  • Objective: Players will take turns filling the cup without spilling the water. The player that overfills loses.
  • Player 1 Controls: D to pour
    
  • Player 2 Controls: Left arrow to pour
• Smoothie Tag
  • Objective: The two players will try to tag each other. The player who is tagged when the timer runs out, or the player who falls into the blender loses.
  • Player 1 Controls: A/D to move, SPACE to jump
    
  • Player 2 Controls:  Left arrow/ Right arrow to move,  Right Shift to jump
