FORCED SHOWDOWN reviews

Description Forced Showdown is a good Game for In Between. In Single-player, you play Shows (with one of 4 very different Characters), with each Show consisting of several Fights. A Fight itself consists of 8 Arenas, with the last Arena being a Boss. Each Arena lasts only a few Seconds (20-30). The Gimmick of the Game is that you keep getting stronger, which in turn is based on Cards that improve the Character. Per arena you get Mana, with which you can play the Cards. The whole thing works like in Hearthstone, so per Arena 1 Mana More. Before the Fights, you build a Deck of 30 Cards, from which you then pull into the Arenas. Once you've defeated a Boss, you get a Buff and start the next Fight. If you Die, you have to start again. For successful Fights there is Gold, which is used to spin on a Wheel of Fortune. As a Reward, there are new Cards. There are no Micro-Transactions, after a While you have unlocked all the Cards along the Way. Longevity/Gameplay After 20 Hours I still haven't unlocked all the Cards and haven't done the second Show yet. The Game is entertaining and the Fights sometimes very demanding. In the second Show, the Arenas receive numerous Modifications that you have to adapt to. By the Way, you can also play daily Challenges, which always have different Modifications and give a good Amount of Gold. It takes a While until you know which Modifications fit the Deck/character better and which one should be better avoided. The Game could give a little more Information here. But even after 20 Hours it's still Fun To test stuff out and it's great when a Deck works and you can build up your Character well. Of Course there is a Random Factor but all the Cards have their Justification, so I have never been really upset that I got the wrong Cards. Each Character has only 4 Skills (often 1 passive), but the Skills change in part through the Cards (E.g. additional Effects such as Fireballs). Conclusion For me, the Purchase paid off. There is enough Content, rich Possibilities to try new Things and very different Characters, so that you can also play a different Style. Add to that the good Control and the Fact that the Game is hard but never unfair. You always do the same thing through the Cards, characters and Modifications every Round is interesting. More Statistics and Information would be nice and the Loading Times before the first Arena are a bit long. Still, I think the Game is worth it. Update After more than 50 Hours now, I have unlocked almost all the Cards. Per character I have 2-3 Decks that are quite good and with 2 Characters I have managed the most difficult Show in the meantime. Fulfilling all the Quests is difficult and I don't know if I'll ever get to 100% but it keeps going. So If you really want to unlock the Cards and defeat all The bosses, you have about 50 Hours of Fun at Forced Showdown. For me, though, it's definitely going on as I want to try some More Decks in the last Show. Update2 Meanwhile, I also own the first Expansion Drone Invasion. At €9per, it was a bit expensive, but it also offers new Opportunities. The new Character has become a bit too strong in my Opinion and the new Boss is rather easier than the old End boss. The new Show consists of different Ways, which you can choose freely. However, you don't see what to expect in Battle (in the old Shows, you see the Modifications beforehand). This is sometimes a bit annoying, as you have to be prepared for everything with the Deck of cards. But there are nice new Cards, the Bosses use cool New Counter-cards (E.g. you get mixed Cards that Let opponents spawn as soon as you pull them) and the new Character is Fun.
