Forest Fortress reviews

Forest Fortress developed and released by Flaming Firefly. Another Visual Novel that relies on Romance and can even be read in German. Story & Gameplay Playfully, like mostly in this Genre, there's not much to do. Every now and then, the Game demands a Decision, which usually minimally influences the Course Of the game and only becomes interesting in the Area of the individual Endings, whereby one of these Endings can be reached quite quickly. The Plot is to be located in the Fantasy area. You are a young Man who leaves his Village to find a Cure for a mysterious Disease. In The process, our Protagonist Dale gets into an Argument between the Squirrel People and the Dryads. The Story then ends when it finally gets really interesting, with a Cliff-hanging. Not only is she absolutely inconsequential until then, she is also partly poorly told and the Characters I found quite implausible or very extreme in her Portrayal. Here, massive Potential of the Basic Idea, which is actually quite interesting, is given away. The German Translation is also more Serious. Not only are letters Missing every now and then, Grammar being trampled Underfoot and some Sentences not fully translated. No, every now and then the wrong Name is also used. There are only one Handful of Characters who have a name. When Character 1 clearly talks about Character 2, but suddenly the Name of Character 1 is there, it's extremely confusing and disturbing. Graphics & Sound Optical I am also very undecided. On the one Hand, I find the Characters very sweetly designed. Even the Animations are quite nice, even if it's primarily just the Roghtly of Squirrel Tail and Breasts, as well as the up and down the Ears. In addition, the Backgrounds look great. On the other hand, there are too few Backgrounds. According to text, the Characters cannot be the Case that the characters change locations but the Backgrounds look exactly identical! In Addition, I find the Gallery Pictures a bit boring. Just because most lack a developed Background. Last but not least, the Characters all too often lack facial Expressions and Gestures. The Music is nice, goes in the Ear, but unfortunately doesn't stay in the Head. A Setting Of the Characters would also have been beautiful and with so few certainly within the Limits of the possible. The Adult content Currently (18.09.2018) Is this VN not yet FSK free AT Steam. So If you want to see the Hentaiszenen, you need to organize the Patch. I played both Versions and I do, however, find that the Patch is not necessary, because the Scenes are not that spectacular. Conclusion Overall not really bad but also unfortunately not a particularly good UN. Here I once again lack the Opportunity to evaluate Games neutrally. If you are interested in VN and you have something left over for Romances and/fantasy, then you can give the Game a chance if it is in a 75% Sale. Otherwise definitely not! With a Game time of 2.5 Hours for the first Run and another half Hour to see the remaining Endings, the current Price of €156 is simply set far too high. Alternatively, If you are interested in an Alternative to this Game, take a look at Mutiny. This is also located in the erotic Fantasy Area, is longer and at the same time cheaper in Price.
