FORWARDS (itch)

A platformer but you can't see your character.  Traverse through an open world filled with traps and surprises while using rocks, crates, and even the rain to your advantage.

Created for the GMTK Game Jam with the theme "[Genre] but you can't [Mechanic]".

You can also play the webGL version if you're too lazy to download/not on windows here (might take a minute or two to load to load, thanks for being patient!).

(Note that the webGL version is an exact port of the GMTK submission with all its bugs. You can still download the official submission if you're skeptical. I will update the game with minor bug fixes and sound effects once the voting period is over)

Controls: Up, Down, Left, Right to move. Spacebar to jump. If you ever get stuck, you can press the 'K' button to respawn to the previous checkpoint.

Known bugs as of submission: Some background colors don't change fluidly and player might sometimes get stuck on platform edges due to collision bugs. If you ever get stuck, you can press "K" to respawn to the last checkpoint. Sorry about that.
