# My last job is mobile-game marketing—manage ads in short-video and news apps, I think the free news/videos is not just attracting more users or sharing happiness(that's a totally lie, even in some community organized by person themselves), the ad and free business model is shaping our daily information.

Since the free content provider, the free app(advertising platform) and advertisers want to max their benefits,  there's more and more Nationalism, Masculinity, Consumerism behind the news to attract more high value user , and exert a subtle influence to everyone.(well...pornhub is similar)
