Friday Night Funkin': Foned In
About
Friday Night Funkin': Foned In
mobile browser and touch screen support because beep bo bop
While it'll probably run on your phone, you'll get the best experience from a larger tablet such as an iPad or Surface. I'd recommend turning off rotation lock to play in landscape, and using downscroll if you find that your fingers are blocking the notes.
On iPhone/iPad use Safari, as fullscreen mode on Chrome might have black bars at the top. On Android, use a Chromium-based browser like Chrome or Edge. If the page instantly reloads/crashes after loading the game, your device might not have enough ram to run the game.
Controls (In Menus):
- Up Arrow = Swipe Up
- Down Arrow = Swipe Down
- Right Arrow/Toggle Difficulty = Swipe Right
- Back/Escape = Swipe Left
- Enter/Select = Tap
Controls (In Game):
- Tap the top-left corner during gameplay to pause
- Touch the arrow keys (or the column they're in) as notes reach the judgement line
- I'd recommended tapping the keys directly on smaller screens as it's easy to fat finger the input
Known Issues:
- Sprites may not load correctly on Android
- Keys sometimes stick/remain highlighted after pressing them (tapping that key again should fix it)
- Accuracy bar might not be that accurate
- Loading replay function not yet implemented
- Old input may feel more accurate than new input (test both for yourself!)
- Screen sometimes hangs when going back to title screen from main menu
- May crash/hang for no reason at any given time
Special thanks to Kade Dev for creating the modified FnF engine with revamped input. Please support the devs by dropping a few bucks if you enjoyed the game!
The source code is available on my Github, but fair warning your eyes may bleed after reading it. Foned In was built using Kade Engine 1.13 with some modifications made. I might add support for Week 7 when it releases if I have time.
