Since the release of the Dominion table game, various video games have emerged featuring a deck (for the uninitiated, a pack of cards) that will contain different resources and actions that you will modify at the option of the adventure. A contrario of the classics where one confronts an opponent, in this type of games, it is the environment that one must defeat. In frost, your main goal is to get ahead of the icy cold synonymous with death if you catch up. To do this, your deck will contain provisions, wood, survivors and ideas that you will probably buy during the game. The icons are quite speaking but it is strongly advisable to go through the tutorial before launching your first game. The maps are fairly well balanced and the different scenarios as well as the new cards that add up are renewing the gameplay and adding life span. Graphic level one has something simple in shades of white and blue to reflect the omnipresent cold in the adventure. Likewise at the audio level we have something very light but that sticks perfectly to the atmosphere of the game namely a tribe that fights in an icy immensity. Personally, I greatly appreciate this type of game and actually Frost was a great surprise. If you are curious or hesitate to buy it, I invite you to try the demo and make your own opinion.
