Why is it so cold? Where's everyone else? And what WAS that THING that I saw near the engine room?

Part of the engine is down and the temperature is dropping by the minute. Supplies are low and you won't last much longer.

Those... things out there love the cold; they thrive in it.

You heard from one of the survivors that somewhere on the ship there are spare parts. Someone has to go out there and fix it and you drew the short straw.

You don't think you'll survive but you hope someone else will.
