Full Bore reviews

I bought this game a bit at the nose. I wasn't expecting much but I was really pleasantly surprised. This game is a mix between an adventure game and a puzzle game. You control a wild boar moving in a 2D world. You can not jump and you can climb blocks only diagonally which restricts your movements a lot. The controls themselves require a little time to adapt because they are not very instinctive. Nevertheless, being a wild boar, you have a special ability: you can dig. This is the main mechanics on which this game rests. Even if this game has a small story, the main goal is to recover as many gems as possible, scattered all over the different levels. The difficulty is to find each time how to access these gems. Indeed, to access these gems you must each time solve a small Riddle consisting of digging/pushing various blocks and exploiting their various properties. Each Riddle is quite short but always unique and really interesting. In addition, the game adds up as new blocks with new properties as well as puzzles exploiting all this so that one never gets bored even after recovering 100 + gems. The difficulty is also well managed. We start with very simple levels that are supposed to make us understand the basic mechanics of the game and we end up with complicated levels that ask us to know how to combine everything we have learned before but which are really satisfying to solve. Another strong point is also the exploration side. The game has a lot of hidden secrets from everywhere. They usually ask for a good analysis of their environment and to constantly ask themselves "can I manage to get to that place?". The game always warns if there are undiscovered secrets or not in the room where we are so we also do not have the frustration of looking for something that does not exist. In the end, the most frustrating part of the game is the beginning. We throw you in a very open world with a very vague objective, bizarroid controls, and almost no explanation. But once you get to do all of this, one gets a really fun adventure game/puzzle game with really satisfying puzzles to solve and really fun secrets to discover. After 4pm of game I'm only 75% so the game also has a lot of content. Now if you are afraid that the price is too high you can always wait for balances or just buy the game, play an hour and you get it refunded if you do not like. In an hour you will have plenty of time to get a good idea of the game and whether you will like it or not. Attention!!!! I recommend to have some knowledge in English to be able to play the game. Even if there is very little reading (unless you decide to read the lore, which is optional) you still need to understand the few dialogues of the game in order to advance the story to be able to explore the different worlds of the game.
