Fungus Amungus

This Fungus Amungus, an entry to the GoGodot Game Jam 2021, with the theme of growth.

Spread the green fungus across the map to cover up the red bug hives. When you cover all the hives, you win.

Move the camera with the WASD keys.

Grow the fungus by placing blue pods by pressing Space and clicking on a fully covered fungus tile.

Red bugs will eat your growth pods and shrink the fungus. Use spore clouds by pressing X or C, and clicking on a growth pod. Fear Spores will chase away all bugs in the circle, while Poison Spores will destroy all bugs in the circle.

This is my first game jam project, but I have made games as personal projects in the past. I'm currently working on and managing SaltyFront, an auto-battling tactical strategy game, also made with the Godot engine. It's currently streaming on Twitch 24/7. Come check it out here!
