Fusionblast!

Welcome to Fusionblast! A fun, easy to learn, old school arcade game.

The year is 2500, you play as the unlikely human hero that needs to destroy enemy spaceships and aliens to save planet earth. Try not to get hit by the kamikaze spaceships that come towards you. Oh, and also try to kill the giant Spacesquid before it reaches you!

This game was made as a project at Saxion University of Applied Sciences (in which we had to also create a custom input device/controller and design an arcade machine). It was created in GXP Engine. Have fun!

P.S.: To play, extract the .zip file, open the debug folder and open the GXPEngine.exe to play. If you want to have the correct font, download the font in the zip file

CONTROLS:

You can move and aim by using the WASD keys, shoot missiles by using the SPACEBAR and use your quantum-shield to not take damage for some period of time by pressing Q.
