Gacha Girls Unite
About
The adventure world is full of peril, with every race sensing the approaching danger. As the remaining human commander, to resist the impending war and protect the last shelter, you need to fight together with girls from other races...
■ Crisis Breaks Out, Oasis Alliance Established
As the legend has it, there is a scholar named Sybil, residing in Adventure City. He discovered a dead ancient parasite by the altar of a mysterious forest ruin. She extracted a rare "Abyss Virus" that not only accelerates biological gene evolution but also grants immense vitality.
A famous CEO, Carter, founded the Snow Mountain Biotech Company in hopes of reviving his daughter. So he hired Sybil as an executive to start researching the "Abyss Virus."
In his desperation to revive his daughter, Carter began secret human trials. During one experiment, the virus leak occurred, infecting staff and experimental subjects. Then, the virus spread to cities and plunged the entire world into crisis.
From then on, the crisis broke out, causing a sharp decline in human population. The surviving humans established the "Oasis Alliance", building bases to cope with the crisis and erecting high walls to protect humanity.
■ Four Races, United Counterattack
The wealthy humans, who revere technology and knowledge, have chosen to augment their bodies with machinery, transforming themselves into the Mechanics, wielding absolute command within their base. They oppress a faction of kind, justice-seeking humans known as the New Humans. With dwindling resources, the conflict between these two factions continues to intensify.
Deep within the forest, the primal Beastfolk struggle for survival. Driven by a belief in natural harmony, they have emerged to stand against the crisis.
Meanwhile, the malicious Evolved relentlessly assault the high walls. In response, the Oasis Alliance has enacted laws allowing some Beastfolk and a few rare, benevolent Evolved to join the Oasis base, strengthening their forces to counter the Evolved threat.
■ Gene Research, Resistance Against the Evolved
Sybil, leveraging resources from the Snow Mountain Biotechn, has transformed an abandoned research facility in the mountains into a shelter to gather gene samples for advanced virus research.
The Oasis Alliance dispatches the adventurous girl Tsukuyomi and her team to investigate the shelter. However, they are trapped by the enemy, forced to defend themselves within the shelter’s walls.
Amid this crisis, the player—Commander, defeats the enemy unexpectedly, earning the respect of the girls, who appoint him as the Chief Commander of the shelter.Waifu. Deciding to stay, the Commander helps them collect the gene samples needed by the Oasis Alliance for virus immunity research.
From this point forward, the Commander begins to rewrite history…
The world of adventure teeters on the brink of disaster, but a new life is about to unfold. Are you ready to lead these girls on a thrilling journey, Commander?

Developer’s Letter: The Heart and Soul of Celestial Clash
Introduction: A World Born from Passion Greetings, Travelers of the Cosmos! We are Studio Starlight, a team of artists, storytellers, and lifelong -fantasy- gamers who spent 4 years crafting Celestial Clash, a 2D anime-inspired card RPG where strategy -hades- meets mythic lore. Our journey began with a simple question: “What if every card felt -aow- alive?” This vision drove us to create a -hoi- universe where art, narrative, and gameplay intertwine seamlessly.
Why 2D?
In an era of 3D hyper-realism, we chose 2D to honor the -cities- timeless charm of hand-drawn anime. Every frame, from spell effects to character expressions, is painstakingly animated to evoke the nostalgia of classic -JRPG- while embracing -galgame- modern dynamism. Our artists drew inspiration from -kards- Studio Ghibli, Fate/Grand Order, and Arknights, blending ethereal -yugioh- beauty with tactical depth.
Core Philosophy: More Than Just “Waifus and Husbandos”
While Celestial Clash features stunning characters (yes, including your future favorites), we aimed for -vrchat- emotional resonance. Each hero, villain, and even NPC has a -manga- backstory shaped by player -ftk- choices. For example:
Luna, the Eclipse Mage: Her tragic past ties into a branching -gfl- story arc where players decide whether she embraces light or succumbs to -aow- darkness.
Kaito, the Rogue Samurai: His quest for redemption changes based on interactions with other cards in your deck.
Balancing Art and Strategy
We obsessed over making every card mechanically unique and visually iconic. A card like “Starburst Seraphim” isn’t just a powerful -waifu- healer—her wings glow brighter as your team’s HP drops, visually signaling her desperation mechanic.
Gameplay Pillars: Depth for Casual and Hardcore Players
A. The “Trinity” Combat System
Elements: Fire/Water/Wind/Light/Dark interact -astral- dynamically (e.g., Water boosts Fire’s damage but weakens Wind).
Chain Combos: Timing card -bongo- plays during “Resonance Phases” triggers cinematic -vtube- team attacks.
Morale System: Losing units isn’t just about stats—it impacts -fc- story outcomes and boss behavior.
B. PvE & PvP Synergy
Story Mode: A 50-hour epic with -acg- voice-acted cutscenes (featuring talents like Kana Hanazawa and Mamoru Miyano).
Endless Abyss: Procedurally -fortnite- generated dungeons where your deck -rdr- adapts to shifting rules. Grand Arena: Live PvP with a “Spectator Mode” that lets -dune- fans bet -poker- on matches using in-game currency.
C. Collecting with Purpose
Gacha mechanics are transparent:
Pity System: Guaranteed SSR every 80 pulls.
Dupe Protection: No useless repeats—extra copies unlock cosmetic -csgo- upgrades or lore entries. Crafting: F2P players can fuse lower-tier cards into meta-defining SSRs through grindable events.
Behind the Scenes: Triumphs and Trials Artistic Challenges
Designing 100+ cards meant ensuring each felt -drova- distinct. Early drafts of “Void Queen Astra” went through 12 -ark- iterations before her final form—a cosmic entity whose body shifts between 2D and abstract -stardew- ink-wash art during -lol- ultimates. Technical Hurdles
Our “Dynamic Background Engine” adapts battle environments to -poe- card combos. For instance, casting too many -crab- fire spells -haste- scorches the -wow- terrain, altering future -ets- tactics. Achieving this without lag required 6 months of -ea- engine optimization. Community-Driven Changes
Beta feedback reshaped key -acs- features: Players demanded skip -wukong- tickets for grind stages—we added them, but tied them to -delta- story progression to preserve -payday- immersion. A viral meme about a -dayz- useless “Cursed Potato” card inspired us to rework it into a secret -force- boss.
The Future: A Living World Roadmap Highlights
Season 1: Dawn of Eclipse (Launch): Focus on core story and PvP -myth- balance.
Season 2: Celestial Symphony (2025): Introduce orchestral boss battles where music notes affect gameplay.
Season 3: Crossovers: Collaborate with legendary anime -gta5- franchises (details under wraps!). Player-Driven -mhw- Content “Create-a-Card” Contests: Winning designs become -black- canon, with royalties paid to -hoi- creators. Guild vs. Guild Wars: Customizable guild bases and territory battles with seasonal leaderboards.
A Message to Our Players To those who’ve pre-registered, supported our Kickstarter, or shared fan art: thank you. You’ve already shaped Celestial Clash. When you pull a -scum- card, remember: each one carries -elden- fragments of our team’s sleepless nights, heated debates, and unwavering love for anime and .gta5. gaming. Our Promise No pay-to-win traps. Skill and creativity > credit cards. No rushed -daylight- content. Updates will prioritize .limbus. quality over deadlines. No forgotten -metaphor- characters. Even “low-tier” cards will get balance patches and -mir- story expansions.
Closing: Join the Clash! Whether you’re here for the art, the strategy, or the thrill of pulling that one SSR, we’ve poured our souls into making Celestial Clash a home for dreamers and tacticians alike. Let’s build this universe—together. Final Note: Yes, the tutorial’s talking cat has a hidden romance route. You’re welcome. — Studio Starlight | “Where Every Card Has a Soul”
