Product received for free A very old Game, which can also offer a certain Fun Factor. However, modern computer hardware and Software are not compatible with this Program. It runs on Windows 10, but there are extremely frequent crashes, frozen Combat Sequences, and Program errors that can ruin a Game very quickly. Since there is no matching Patch for it ... Well... I received it for free from Humble bundle. It's nice To Try. But I would definitely advise against a Purchase-unless it's played on an older reserve computer.

If you've never played Galactic Civilizations saga, I would recommend you start playing with Galactic Civilizations II instead of this one. Why? It has all the good things from Galactic Civilizations I plus better graphics and bigger universe. About this one, I recommend it because it's a really enjoyable and catchy game (sickly catchy, like the Civilization franchise). The UI (User Interface) isn't the best but doesn't hinder the experience, it's playable. Also the AI (Artificial Inteligence) shows some flaws on low levels but when playing at higher levels it improves. And finally it's also important to mention that the campaigns have some interesting stories and perspectives about what can be a "galactic war". Definitely one of my favourite strategy games. TL;DR: good game, good strategy, enjoyable experience; but if you can, play Galactic Civilizations II instead.
