Gans and the Four Crystals

Controls: 

 WASD to move. Press escape to pause, and R to restart. Arrow keys to shoot exploding teeth in four directions.

This game was made for the GMTK 2021 Game Jam, and the theme was "Joined Together". Instead of taking this theme literally,  we chose to take it as a metaphorical connection. The player's actions are connected to the difficulty of the next levels. The game keeps going until you lose.

How to Play:

Four Crystals in each level spawn in enemies periodically, and shooting the Crystals will kill all enemies and heal you. However, in doing so, the difficulty of the next level will be increased.
The purple enemies have 1 health and give you 1 point, the green enemies have 3 health and give you 2 points. Purple enemies are faster than green ones. Once you get your "Required Points Remaining" value to 0, you will proceed to the next stage.

Things That Change With Difficulty:

- The spawn rate of enemies.

- The speed of enemies.

- Required points to beat a stage.

- The size of the explosion your bullets make.
