This is a Game Jam game with the theme "Renewal"!

How is this game relevant to the theme? 

Our take on 'Renewal' is brought about through a humourous take on the role of the very Singaporean karang guni man, who gives his collected scraps a renewed purpose as towers, defending against waves of monsters! 

What sort of experience/message are you hoping your game will bring across to the player? 

We hope to bring attention to the importance of recycling (or 'renewing') our waste - don't wait for the karang guni man to give your unwanted items a new lease on life!

 Why did you end up choosing the direction of your game? 

Renewability is a practical problem that hits especially close to home since Singapore generates significantly more waste per capita than many of our Southeast Asian neighbours.
