Gnomoria reviews

After reading all the bad Review, I just had to write a positive one. In My Opinion, they are, for The Most part, doing the game and the Developers wrong. I often stumble over the fact that the Developers have reportedly given up on the Game and then wonder what Do people expect? Gnomoria is running! I haven't experienced any Bugs in the last Few days I've played exclusively, the Game is iconic, self-contained And running clean. It's quite clearly a finished Game. I don't see any further Need for Bug Fixes or feature Add-ons. Why should a Developer continue to work on a Project after which it is finished? Does he Get the further Work paid by Players who already own the Game and use it? No. Does he have to pay for his Housing and his Fressals? Yes. So a nonsensical Accusation. Gnomoria is less complex than Dwarf Fortress, but the Complexity still brings Hours after hours of Fascination and Fun. It's just great to watch his Gnomes Welling. It's Fun to cycle for Ores and Gems and the Best thing: You can build a cozy Home for your Gnomes and their Pets. You often fail until you get out what you have to vow, but at least this does not break off from the Addiction factor with me. For me, it makes up Some of the Tension. Also Great Are some Mods that supply additional Goods or Components such as Cemeteries or Glassware and other Foods. They make the Game more complex, but it's not a Must to Use it. You can look well without Mods. :)

Actually, I always thought the Project was good, at least in Terms of what it should offer. At the end of the day, however, I am quite disappointed. The two Years has hardly happened in terms of Features. It was constantly being made up of old Bugs, but they were never neatly fixed. And instead of the planned Features, half-heartedly modding was installed, according to the Motto, the Community should direct it. In the current state, it just resembles an alpha more (or if you push both eyes maybe beta) but you just notice to the Game that it's not a finished Product. If you look over it, you will still be able to spend some nice Hours with it. Because the initial Construction phase is demanding and quite Fun when you have become accustomed to the user interface in need of getting used to and have bitten yourself through the Game Mechanics. However, at some point we will find that nothing new is coming. Real End-of-events are sought in vain. So continue to increase Population, increase Food supplies, improve the Military And combat The Waves of enemies from time to Time at The edge of the Map Spawn. These automatically grow stronger the further you expand. So kind Of An endless loop. Sure, the Game is also designed as a Sandboxing Game. But there would nevertheless have been Ways and Means to give the Player more long-term Goals. For Example, Dungeons with Treasures and Boss Monsters, Achievements, building world wonders, real Enemies going to war against you (and which you can also completely defeat) or simply the numerous other Features that were originally intended (the List was Unfortunately removed from the Website). The Potential would have been there. Instead, at some point the Development was canceled, then half even 2 Years ago, and the Game was declared finished. Too Bad about it. Unfortunately, I cannot Recommend it in this State, even if it has been a lot of Fun for me at Times. It's just not what it was originally supposed to become.
