Go Home Dinosaurs! reviews

Solid enough tower defense game. Nowhere near dethroning the bests in the genre but a pleasant little romp. I did find it overstaying it's welcome towards the end despite being very short. There isn't much depth and the game is way too easy for a majority of its runtime. Despite its flaws, I still found this title to be good time.

A very cuddly Tower Defense Game that isn't about protecting its Tower, castle, energy Core, Etc. from opponents, but keeping greedy Dinos away from Steaks. Still, a classic Tower Defense Game. Different Enemy types and different Towers that take action against certain Enemies sometimes less effectively. Intervention is done in this Game with your Character (and special Abilities) the Opponent throws when they are close enough. What I found quite nice was the Kind of Resources to come for Tower Construction. With most TD games, these are available at the Beginning of Rounds und/or by killing Opponents. At Go Home Dinosaurs, on the other hand, you have to collect the Currency (coconuts) that sprout out of the Ground on buildable Fields every now and then during the running game. In short, it is a typical and good Tower Defense Game that brings some of its own Ideas but does not reinvent the Genre. Graphics and Sound are perfectly attuned to the Game and the Sayings of some Tower Shooters can make you chuckle every now and then. My only two criticisms: 1. Is it quite short, after 5 Hours you should be about through, in addition about 4-7 hours for the Archievment hunt, which, however, only Drags on because you have to defeat for a 10,000 Dinos. So It's more so long because it's artificially pulled into the length, not because it's demanding, which I'm with 2nd. It's too easy, in my Opinion. At least I never Lost. Only if you want to secure all 3 Steaks do some Levels get a certain Claim. Even the Boss fights (which were done very well) I managed all straight away. However, both Points I can get over, even if you could have made a lot more of the Game with Additional Modes and Mini-games. Go Home Dinosaurs is in my Opinion the perfect Game for anyone who is still quite new in the TD Genre or who wants to try it out. For all those who are already somewhat Familiar with TD games, I would not recommend it unreservedly (for the two Reasons mentioned) but a nice Pastime for in between is always. Edit: One final Point of criticism is the Price, which I find a bit excessive for the Scope. The best way to get the Game is like me in the Sale (have paid 2 Euros).

Go Home Dinosaurs is a Tower Defense with beautiful Cute graphics and Fresh Wind through Ideas from other Game types such as Card Games and Tetris. Game Description: It is always the Goal to prevent the Dinos from stealing 3 Steaks from the Grill. For every single Tower you want to build on a Map, you have to take a Map with you. If you want to build the same Tower twice, you also have to take 2 Maps from that Tower. As the Campaign progresses, you unlock new Towers and increase the Number of Cards you can take with you (max 9). There are no Upgrade options for Towers. The Towers are not only different sizes, but have Shapes such as Tetris parts, so you have to plan ahead when Building your Towers. At the Beginning of each Map you already have an avatar tower that can be laid on any free Tower Field, shoots at Enemies and with which you have to harvest Coconuts that appear on the Map. Because to play a Card you always need a certain Number of Coconuts. Instead of the Tower Cards, you can also take other Cards with you, such as a Bomb or Cards that briefly boost the Avatar. These other Cards must be unlocked with gold purchased in the Game. Since the Game is a Mobile Phone port, it is important to mention that annoying grinding of well-known Maps is not necessary. Over the course of the Campaign, I earned enough Gold to unlock all the Cards. Opponents and Towers are quite different. There is no adjustable Difficulty directly, but in front of the Grill there are 2 Bombs, if one of them is triggered, its Effect reaches back a Piece of the Enemy path, so that several Enemies can be caught. Each Explosion also destroys a Steak. Maps: There are 3 Campaigns with 20 Maps each, with the Degree Of Funding varying. Unfortunately, even the later Maps do not get any bigger and you can only build a maximum of 9 Towers. The Path of the Opponents cannot be changed. The Game makes you feel good, but if you want to complete all The maps with a 3-Steak rating, it can get hectic. With some Maps, the Avatar must always be moved to the right Place at lightning speed and the Towers must be rotated into the right Shape just as Quickly when Building. That's why I wasn't excited to aim for an optimal Rating in every Level. Verdict: The Game differs pleasantly from other Tower Defense Games. It was really Fun and the €2 (Summer offer) paid off.
