Goblinoid

Premise

Created for the Lost Cartridge Jam 2022, Goblinoid is a game which simulates a DOS game of the early 1990s, with a 16 color, 640x480 screen and OPL synthesis music.

You control Znog, a goblinoid which lives to eat small blue creatures known as Bloofings. Znog bounces around his subterranean realm, while eating Bloofings and avoiding ancient goblinoid traps.

You can only control Znog's horizontal movement, as he bounces off walls, moving up and down continuously.

- Features a rather unique bouncing gameplay mechanic
- 5 Areas with 5 levels each, adding up to 25 levels in total
- Can be played with cursor keys or gamepad/joystick
- Simulated EGA palette graphics and OPL music
