Gochi-Show! -How To Learn Japanese Cooking Game reviews and comments

You play a Boy who Often dreams of a delicious Breakfast. Sounds strange, but is so. Because his Mother cooked for him, but so badly that he prefers to go hungry or spend his money in the Unimensa on a reasonably sensible Meal. A Friend of his – or you – now tells of the University's Cooking Club. Learning To cook? That could be the Solution! So nothing like going there! The Cooking Club consists of only three Girls, of whom you first only meet one, who first tells you her Life story and Planning for The Future. If you Have this behind you, it goes to the Pots and Pans. First of all, just to the Pan, because the first Lesson is actually the Fried egg. In meticulous Step-by-step instructions, the absolute Changer is introduced to the Topic, so that it is almost impossible not to get it. You can say afterwards that your Egg has not succeeded – but then all the Fun – with felt endless dialogue – starts again from scratch. If you Have made your first Recipe (here, by the way, you are not cooked In-game, you should actually do this At home, not that Misunderstandings arise here), you can make your Way to the next one. Cooking Rice then says it. You need a certain Number of Points to get to the next Chapter of the Game, where the Story continues. No Game, but a nice Cookbook for Beginners as you realize, you really can't call "Gochi Show!" A Game, because there's No Gameplay. No Minigames, nothing. So If you're looking for a Game similar to "Cooking Mama," here's at the wrong Address. Rather, you get a virtual Cookbook for absolute Beginners, which is provided with a small Story. Of course, it's also about Love, so you feel a little reminded of the Dating Games from Japanese Game Forges. One Conclusion is really hard to pull for "Gochi Show!" As a Game, it falls mercilessly through. As a Graphic Novel, it's quite nice. The Drawings have succeeded well, the Dialogues are only a little too long. As a Cookbook for Beginners, "Gochi Show!" But really something. Not only do the Basics like the Named fried Egg Come to Mention, but we also get a deeper Insight into Asian Cuisine as The Story progresses. Unfortunately, it only takes quite a long time, even if you have unlocked all the Recipes. Thus, this Game is really only recommended to those who are very attached to this Genre and want to learn a lot of Cooking for real Life. But Beware: The Game is not available in German, but comes with Japanese Sound and English Subtitles. The whole Review is available on www.testiversum.at
