Godcall Defense Line
About
"Godcall Defense Line" is a multiplayer cooperative game that integrates various elements such as action, strategy, real - time strategy, and tower defense. Players can summon various gods, ghosts, beasts, heroes, as well as defensive buildings like walls, guns, etc., to defend against the constantly incoming enemy forces. All characters can be summoned and can also be the player's protagonist. The summoned objects, except for buildings, can guard at any location or follow the player's actions. Maps, levels, and characters of various different styles will be added in the future. In terms of strategy, it is designed to allow players to deploy their team's defense line without having to consider numerical calculations as much as possible. If you're looking for a light - strategy game for two - player cooperative combat on the same device, this one is quite suitable. Initially, I wanted to find such a game but couldn't, so I came up with this idea. For two - player play, it also supports dual - monitors, which is much better than split - screen play on a single monitor. It supports both gamepad and full - keyboard operation, so that children who are not familiar with the keyboard can play with older friends, But for kids, there are probably too many operations and they can’t quickly assess the situation, so even older kids would find the later levels hard to pass.
Friendly reminder: When using a Switch or Xbox controller, please disable Steam Input in Steam's controller settings. The game itself already supports these controllers, so avoid letting it perform automatic mapping.
Game Tips:
Picking up a skill item may temporarily replace the default air-attack skill with the item’s skill.
After creating a wall, go to another location and [hold L/controller bottom-right] to create a single wall, or [Shift+L/controller D-pad up+bottom-right] to create a wall segment.
Lightning is used to hit air units at critical moments.
Directional keys can interrupt the current combo.
You can only move forward while attacking.
When a wall is broken and the wall above hasn’t fallen yet, the enemy may be able to enter.
Standing directly under enemy air units prevents their attacks from hitting you.
