GOKEN
About
GOKEN seeks to bring back everything that was right about gaming in an action packed open world environment in the form of the good old Action RPG genre and have the old school gamers tremble in nostalgia.
-Scenario-
Long ago, when gods lived amongst people...
There lived a swordsman who was given five swords forged by god himself.
Using these swords, the swordsman brought peace and order to the world.
People called the swordsman, "Wielder of the Five Swords"...
One day, during a fete to praise the gods, the blades of the swordsman turn against the gods for reasons unknown.
One of the gods, Ozone, furious with all his powers, sealed the swordsman away at the top of a mountain now known as Swords Peak.
This tale begins 5,000 years after the battle between the two, near a the small village of Cardina.
-Game Overview-Seamless open-world game mechanicsWhile the game features a rather old school “quarter view” mechanic, the map transitions and event scenes, even the combat is all seamless as can be to enhance the overall gaming experience.Real time strategic action battle systemUtilizing 2 primary attack buttons, users can assign different weapons to each button to create a unique combo that fits the users need as they go. Monsters, bosses and stage gimmicks can require a specific type of weapon at times creating opportunities for users to strategize their best route of approach.Customizable Tattoo systemUtilizing "tattoos", users are given specific points upon leveling to get the protagonist inked as a form of powering up so it could be built to one’s own. Raising MAX HP and Stamina, learning new and special moves are just a few of many ways players are able to customize their character depending on their play style.

Swordsman Edge laid on with a God, was outnumbered after several Days in battle and has been encased in Crystal for 5,000 Years. But so what! When, after that Time, the Plot device character emerges to free the young Man, Edge finds that his five Swords have been lost-the Search for the weapons begins.
GOKEN is an entertaining action RPG that reminded me of Secret of Mana While playing-Plot doesn't go great, just Reasons why Edge needs from A to B to find the MacGuffin. But It doesn't matter, because even with Secret of Mana, the Strength was not in the Story-the Gameplay hats was made up. This is also surprisingly good at GOKEN!
In total, there are five different Swords that allow for five different Styles-in other words: You get five different Methods in the Hand from the Game to polish the Fresco to the Monsters. It all starts quite harmlessly, but especially in the last Third the Difficulty of the Fights attracts badly and since you can only carry two Weapons at a time, you have to occasionally consider which Weapons you combine. For all the viewer Tipples, Edge naturally accumulates experience points and rises at a comfortable Pace in Level, with status values automatically increasing. Unfortunately, the Sense of growing Strength falls by the Wayside, because the Stat-ups are marginal and doing rather in the Crowd. More Wumms bring the Weapon Upgrades for which monster Drops are collected During the Metzelorgie to exchange for a little Bares at the Blacksmith for more effective Killing Utensils. Again, this is nothing Wild and requires just a little Grinding. Last But not Least, you strengthen yourself to the Tattoo system, which offers not only some percentage upgrades but also Slots for ink, in order to specialize the Character a little-if you think it makes sense. I found it most useful to just immunize myself against all the Status Effects and finished the Store was done. 8% more ATK with a Sword Have not made the Sow fat anymore.
For Friends of the well-groomed Side cross, GOKEN is nothing, as there are only a few of them, which are mostly related to a Tutorial. For this, there are hidden Events, secret Bosses and a Dragon Hunt that can wipe aside the thread Aftertaste. In Defence of the Game, however, IT has to be said that GOKEN wants to be nothing more than a straightforward Action Tour and that succeeds quite well. I found it quite pleasant, for once not to have to look for 429 Feathers, 861 Pigeons and 5295 secret Diary Pages by Erik Friederich Arndt And to be able to concentrate on one Thing.
Since I caught the Game on Offer, I was offered 14 Hours of Gameplay for my 10 Euros. I think That's quite right for the Price and in a Few More Flakes I wouldn't have bothered.
