About

James Reed is a detective called out one night to investigate the apparent suicide of a woman and the sudden disappearance of her husband, Thomas May. Play as both of these men in this short story-driven experience as you learn about how they lived, how they loved, how they lost, and how the decisions they made changed not only their lives, but of those around them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Quiet Bay Studio's debut title, Gone Fireflies, is a brief, linear experience that lets you turn the story one page at a time by talking with the game's characters, finding and interacting with objects in the environment, and making choices in both action and conversation which determine the final pages of this interactive tale. This is a slower paced game that emphasizes dialogue and story over traditional RPG elements and adventure.
-------------------------------------------------------------------Key Features

  • An emotional story-driven experience
  • Multiple dialogue options during conversations
  • Investigate, and discover optional content
  • Multiple endings based on the choices you make
  • Beautiful music by Jeremy Wray, Nicolas Gasparini, and Kevin MacLeod

Gone Fireflies reviews and comments

I finished the Game after 4.5 Hours as I read it out and commented for a Let's Play. Normally, it should take about 1-1.5 Hours to finish the Game. I really liked the Story, really much. She was very emotional, sad, funny and, above all, very rousing. You can put yourself well into the Figures. The Dialogues are well written and give the Game a good Atmosphere. As well as the voice-chosen Pieces of music, which perfectly underscore the Scenes. Gone Fireflies was created with the RPG Maker And really doesn't have to hide behind other Games of this Genre. The only small negative Criticism for me is the somewhat too slow appearing Speech Bubbles, which in some Places slowed down the tempo of the Story a bit. To this end, however, I have to say that the Developer had contacted me via Facebook to search together for solutions to this Problem. Really a great Publisher with great Support and a lot of Love for this great Work of art. Those who like games like A Bird Story, To the Moon and Visual Novels will also close Gone Fireflies into their Heart. For me personally, a clear Buy recommendation:)

Product received for free Gone Fireflies-we play for a detective and investigate the suicide of a woman and the disappearance of her husband. As we progress through the game, we see how these people lived, what they were doing, and so on. What can I say about this game? First of all, that there is no Russian language. Not knowing English, you will pass the game by the method of poking, and with every minute you will be bored more and more. Given that this is a novel, the text here is very much, and the main focus of the game is exactly on the story. Some other obvious and big minuses have not found. Music... The Music is written by Jeremy Raem, Nicolas Gassparini and Kevin Macleodom, which suggests that the music is chic and very beautiful, but sometimes the compositions do not sound in the theme at all. Picture... It looks pretty good. You Can see that when drawing and drawing the levels tried. Everything is quite lively and filled. But again, not everyone can like pixel graphics. The Most important thing is what the game-story is made of. We get a fairly simple and short story. In General, the game can be completed in a couple of hours, but the mechanics of the game is specially made so that the dialogues occupied a lot of your time, so the process of passing is prolonged at times. At The exit we get a fairly simple game with cute graphics and good music, but with a short storyline. Without the Russian language, without cards, and achievements are not enough. Such A game is not worth the money. We Pass by.
